Update

For those of you that did follow thsese postings, sorry I have not updated in six months or so. I have been posting most of my work on a Flickr account. It is a little more friendly for photos and copright protection.

one more time around

I am getting a little better at this blog thing, but all in due time, even though it has been one month since the last posting. For those of you who missed the last GDP show, and can't imagine why you would, I can fill you in from my own perceptive. I can show you what my right eye and camera saw.  What I can't give you was the sheer thrill of actually being there. So with all that hype I must point you to the upcoming 80-35 show. There appears to be some pretty good headliners, but I am not at liberty to say who. Actually I cant tell you because I wanted it to be a surprise just like you.  So no spoilers from me.  

So i am sitting at the tavern in valley junction about to reward my self for surviving yet another fierce cold. i have now fixed the wireless connectivity issue going on at home.  Fifty bucks or a new wireless router later i am back in business! Unlike men, (and women) not all wireless routers are created equal. Much stronger signal and signal that other devices can actually use. So if you are one of naboirs, enjoy it while it lasts.

For those of wondering about photos from the GDP show, well look no further. they are posted on a flickr site. It is real easy to get to. Just click on the slide show on the top. Its the lightspeed watson page, But it just seemed to be a good place to start.

If your Band was featured on this DMMC show or any of the ones they have put on, let me know and I can post all of the unedited images of your band.

Hello and welcome

This is kind of my temporary site. I am afraid I am not really a righter but an artist. The article in DM Juice, which is probably how you have made it here, has been a great bit of publicity. Thanks Erin for doing a good job. I have yet to post images of the final product which are truly best viewed in person. There is a texture that you can both see and feel that unites both element of the pieces. If there are any photographs you have taken that you would like turned in to paintings through the process I am developing, I am available for commission. There is a thumbnail slide show at the right of the screen that will take you to a Flickr site for a more detailed view and there is a video slide show. I have more images that will be posted soon.

Lift Off

My name is Phil and I will be posting under the name "Lightspeed Watson." The idea is to post and display the photographs and paintings that I have compleated in the last couple of years. This going to be a lot of fun and I certanly am looking forward to seeing how this whole thing progresses. I have to admitt that I am new to writting a blog.
